The oldest three were at Grandma and Grandpa’s house and it was a lot quieter in the house. :)  Sure wasn’t used to that after such a busy summer!  The light was nice, so I pulled out my camera to have a very mini-impromtu photo session with the youngest two.  And afterwards we jumped on the bed. :)

Shena: They're really nice, Wenda. Jacob always seems so happy when I see him (and pictures of him). And Lydia looks so much bigger than she did a few weeks ago.

This was the first time meeting my newest nephew.  He is already 7 months old, and so very sweet.  We affectionately refer to his father as ‘mountain man’ :) and I think John might even catch up!  He looks just like his daddy already.  The session wasn’t super long, but I ended up with many, many favourites of this precious cutie.  Here are some of them:

pauline deglint: Great pictures Wenda! Your are right- he sure looks like his dad.

jane deglint: Again, you have shown your gift for highlighting the character of a young child. John is calm, curious and content. And cute, of course.

Lucky for me, a couple of my sisters, and (some of) their kids,  have come from out of province to visit for a little while!  This is great, not only for some fun family time, but also, I have yet another chance to pull out my camera and offer a photoshoot. :)  You can’t turn your sister down, can you?   Good thing Juliet’s mom didn’t – we got some super cute photos.   And there is nothing like a cozy baby sling when it’s nap time… it’s Juliet’s favourite place to snuggle.

Now hopefully my nephew will be up for some photos next week! :)

jane deglint: From the alert to the drowsy: all moving moments.

Peter: Beautiful, Wenda (and Shena). Julliet is getting big. And is tha Aloysius on top of this page?

Shena: I guess my previous comment got lost somewhere. The shots look fantastic, Wenda. Darren really liked them all too. Juliet's hair even looks a little red in one of the shots. I eagerly await the link you're sending.

 Our baby girl…
